FAQ
Who officially holds the current Guinness firewalking record?
This was achieved in Dunedin, New Zealand, on 11 July 2004. 350 people took 1 hr 20 minutes to cross the fires. Help us break this record … we are aiming for 1000 people!
Why don't my feet get burnt?
Firewalking is challenging but safe… Imagine taking baked bread from the oven, if you juggle it from hand to had you won't get burned. Walking the bed of embers is the same. Like the bread, the embers are not good conductors of heat which means you can walk without getting burned. The world record fire walk is a 2 step fire walk, you can do this.
